Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing.Feb 18, 2012 I have been a teacher all my life and now that I do not have a physical class I write on the web and sometimes borrow the articles of others if they illustrate important, historical, information for research. I NEVER take credit for what somone else has written! That is stealing! I don't steal! I firmly believe that this is exactly what this section of the copyright act refers to.
